Mimi Blue Meatballs Inauguration Day promotion a success
Diners packed the two locations of Mimi Blue Meatballs Friday to support the Immigrant Welcome Center and Wome4Change Indiana.
From dine in to carry out, the restaurants were bustling with people who believe in the shared core values of equality, justice and tolerance.
Immigrant Welcome Center executive director Terri Morris-Downs met friends and family for dinner at the Mass Ave location.
Jill Glavan, reporter for Fox 59/CBS 4, covered the Inauguration Day celebrations and interviewed Morris-Downs about the partnership.
Friends Anita Harris and Susie Bradford dined at Mimi Blue in Carmel.
Harris commented on Facebook, "Thanks Mimi Blues for supporting Women4Change and the Immigrant Welcome Center. Absolutely great dinner!"
Indianapolis mayor Joe Hogsett joined the crowds supporting equality, justice and tolerance and dined at the downtown location.
Earlier that day at the Belong event, he encouraged all to share those core values and eat at Mimi Blue Meatballs.
