W4C Indiana co-founder Rabbi Sandy Eisenberg Sasso will speak at the peaceful protest at the Indianapolis International Airport.
Rima Khan-Shahid, executive director of the Muslim Alliance of Indiana and Women4Change Indiana task force leader, will join Sasso as one of the speakers at today's event.
W4C Indiana supports Kahn-Shahid and encourages all to join us at the airport. Assembly begins at 4 pm and remarks are scheduled for 5 pm.
The protest is in opposition to President Donald Trump’s executive order signed Friday which bans travel from seven Muslim-majority countries for 90 days and suspends all refugee admission for 120 days.
W4C Indiana leaders will protest with the messages “W4C supports immigrants” and “W4C protects the first amendment” and encourage all to wear W4C Indiana shirts and make signs supporting these values.
