For years, we’ve advocated for paid parental leave, a cornerstone of women’s economic stability that allows working mothers to continue financially supporting their families without putting their health and well-being at risk.

During this public health crisis, it is more crucial than ever that all working people in Indiana have COVID-19 emergency paid sick time and family and medical leave. The Families First Coronavirus Response Act provides some Hoosier workers with emergency paid leave—but leaves more than 1.5 million working Hoosiers out.
