Clothesline Day at the Statehouse
Women4Change hosted Clothesline Day alongside our partners in the Indiana Coalition to End Sexual Assault & Human Trafficking. We displayed an exhibit with anonymous postcards filled with stories of sexual harassment and assault. More than 130 people attended the event.
We urge our legislators to acknowledge the rates of sexual harassment and assault in Indiana: 1 in 5 Hoosier females are sexually assaulted. We need to pass in-depth consent legislation in the 2021 legislative session.
